MRI

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a diagnostic procedure that uses a combination of a large magnet, radiofrequencies, and a computer in order to produce a detailed image of organs and structures within the body, avoiding the harmful effects of X-Rays. An MRI is often used to examine the heart, brain, liver, pancreas, extremities, spine, male and female reproductive organs, and other soft tissues. On top of this, you are able to accommodate patients over 300 pounds to detect tumors and diagnose many forms of cancer. MRI is used to evaluate infections as well as assess injuries to bones and joints.

Our MRI system provides a safe and fast way to get a clear picture of your anatomy, which helps your doctor accurately detect and define damaged tissues from their healthy counterparts.  Unlike Traditional closed MRI, our Toshiba OPART is an open system that provides patient access on all sides of the scanner.
The OPART offers the patient a less confining space. It allows ample light and air circulation, which makes it a good choice for large and claustrophobic patients. The OPART’s 0.35T super conductive magnet will provide the patient’s doctor with the best possible images for accurate diagnosis.
